Pigment thickener is one of the most commonly used thickeners in the printing industry.

In printing, two main materials, glue paste and color paste, will be used.

And because under high shear force, it will reduce the consistency, so to use the thickener to increase the consistency of the printing material, then use the printing thickener.

The main function of the printing thickener is to provide good rheological property, the printing screen, the printing roller on the paste or color paste transferred to the fabric, so that the dye and fiber together, to ensure that the printing pattern profile.

Curing

Curing must take place at 150°C for 02 minutes. Time and temperature must be optimized by the customer, depending on the kind of printing and substrate. In any case, they must not be lower than the above-recommended ones.

The GOTS standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution activities of all textiles with an ORGANIC and natural certified fibre content of not less than 70%.

● The improved method is to introduce a small amount of hydrophobic groups on the hydrophilic main chain, so as to synthesize associative thickeners.

● At present, the printing thickeners in the domestic market can be divided into natural thickeners, emulsifying thickeners and synthetic thickeners according to different raw materials and preparation methods. Among them, reversed-phase polymerization products in synthetic thickeners account for most of the domestic market at present, because the solid content can be higher than 50% and the thickening effect is very good.
