Stainless steel scraper
After this kind of scraper is cut by stainless steel sheet, it is pressed on the scraper base and acts on the upper (coating) rubber roller. Due to the softness of the stainless steel sheet, the squeegee is not very uniform. Most of them are used for squeegee on anilox rollers, and also for pre-squeegee coating on smooth rollers.
Comma scraper
Such scrapers are often made of round steel with better strength and hardness. The scraper is fixed and does not rotate when scraping. This kind of scraper has high strength, high hardness, and small edge straightness error. The position of the scraper can be adjusted and controlled by pneumatic and fine-tuning mechanism. Due to its uniform squeegee, it is suitable for precise squeegee coating on smooth rolls.

This kind of scraper is usually made of round bars with better strength and hardness. The round bar is required to rotate when squeegeeing. Sometimes the scraper can also scrape directly on the substrate. The full runout error of the squeegee is very small, and it is mostly used for pre-squeegee coating of the squeegee-type squeegee device on the smooth roller. When the glue is viscous, it can also be directly scraped on the substrate with a scraper as the precise scraping glue of the coating mechanism. It can also be used for disposable squeegee with thick coating.
Wire scraper
This type of scraper is made of high-precision cold-drawn round steel, which is tightly wound with stainless steel wire. If the wire scraper is driven by a micro DC motor to rotate when scraping the glue, the effect is better. When scraping glue, the wire scraper usually acts directly on the substrate. But generally speaking, it is only used for pre-squeegee coating on smooth rollers. Precise squeegee with comma squeegee is usually required later.
Air scraper
The air scraper mechanism acts on the gluing roller through the uniformly ejected air (pressure) flow, which plays the purpose of scraping glue. The air (pressure) flow is required to be evenly distributed over the entire width of the smooth roller. This kind of scraper is mostly used for scraping glue with better fluidity. The squeegee has high squeegee precision, and is currently widely used in the coating squeegee of whiteboard paper.
